About Tammy
I am based in west Cornwall and travel around the UK to work on-site with clients as needed, drawing on my extensive network of contacts in retail buying and merchandise functions to bring in relevant experience and resource when required.
My background
I am a commercial manager with over 10 years' core blue-chip experience in retail buying, merchandising and marketing functions.
I worked as Category Manager for J Sainsbury supermarkets managing a turnover of £250 million and a team of 10 buyers, buying extensive Far East and UK-sourced homeware and seasonal products.
Before Sainsbury I worked for the Kingfisher group in various commercial roles at Woolworths, Kingfisher Global Sourcing, superdrug.com and Superdrug. At Superdrug I managed a quarter of the company's turnover, overseeing the commercial performance of the haircare, skincare, suncare and washing and bathing product ranges.
I graduated from Cambridge University in 1995 with a 2:1 in French and Spanish and am fluent in Spanish. I also have a Diploma in Management Studies from Oxford University.
